Today, many manufacturers of smartphones and tablets choose relatively inexpensive and quite quality processors Chinese company MediaTeck. Mainly the MTK65XX series is used. The methods for obtaining root described in this article were tested on devices with these chips. Perhaps they will work on devices with other processors, but checking this statement is a personal matter for everyone.

Preparation

The first thing you need is a smartphone or tablet charged at least 50%. Android based. Transfer all the necessary data from it to your computer, install the appropriate drivers. Find a whole USB cable, best of all, included with the device. Connect it to the REAR port of the PC or any port of the laptop. It is not advisable to use the USB 3.0 interface.

Enable USB debugging on your device (for developers, USB debugging).

If there is no “for developers” item in the settings, go to “version information” and find the build number. You will need to click on it 7 times. Then the corresponding column will appear in the settings.

Allow applications to be downloaded from unknown sources. To do this, go to “settings” - “security” - “unknown sources” (check the box).

If you did everything correctly, the preparation is complete.
