Samsung galaxy n8000 firmware. Firmware for Chinese tablet Samsung N8000. Programs required for firmware

In 2012, the Korean corporation Samsung released a tablet with some of the most powerful characteristics at that time: a 4-core processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory, a 10.1-inch PLS matrix, and support 3G and H+ networks. Naturally, such a model could not bypass Chinese manufacturers of counterfeits of popular gadgets.

The big mistake of the counterfeiters was the built-in firmware Chinese Samsung N8000: when rebooting, the tablet often freezes and some modules do not work correctly. Only installing a new shell will help correct all the mistakes of programmers from the Middle Kingdom.

The process of flashing the N8000 tablet

It is recommended that the Chinese developers themselves update the device using the LiveSuit utility for PC. And as firmware for the Sansung Galaxy Note N8000 tablet we will use the latest available version with preinstalled Android system Jelly Bean 4.2.

When starting the program for the first time, answer the warning in the affirmative.

Select Full Update mode.

Perform the following actions with the tablet:

  • Press the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the device;
  • Connect one end of the USB cable to your computer;
  • While holding down the volume down button, connect the device to the PC;
  • When you hear the characteristic sound of detecting a new device, release all buttons.

After these steps, the firmware will begin loading into the internal Samsung memory Galaxy Note N8000, at the end of which (the procedure lasts 3-5 minutes) a corresponding message will appear.

Now you can disconnect the cable, after which the device will begin to reboot automatically.

Possible problems

When you select a firmware file in LiveSuit, you may receive an error message due to a long or incorrect image name. In this case, you need to rename the file to a shorter one, leaving only Latin letters in the name.

If, after installing the new shell, the tablet does not boot to the start screen, then your device has a different, rarer revision. Repeat the flashing process with another archive (firmware 2).

When you turn on the tablet, after the Samsung splash screen, the Android sign appears on a green background and nothing else happens, or vice versa - first the Android icon, and behind it the “eternal” Samsung.

Entering the firmware mode

To flash the N8000 firmware, you need to use the LiveSuit program. The sequence of actions is as follows:

  1. Turn off the device. If enabled, press the power button and hold for about 10 seconds;
  2. Launch LiveSuit and point it to required file firmware - Select Image button. Wait while the file is processed;
  3. Press "Sound +" on the tablet and while holding the button, connect to the USB connector;
  4. A window will appear with the following sentence: “Click Yes if you want the firmware to be updated with memory formatting. Click No if you need to update the firmware without formatting (Recommended)”;
  5. Wait for the flashing process to finish - about 3 minutes. The device will automatically reboot.
  6. Select Russian language in the settings. The default is usually English.

Programs required for firmware

The firmware program itself is LiveSuitPack 1.11.

In the firmware, when using the Play Market, an error occurs and you will not be able to download anything. The fact is that in the firmware old version programs. Whatever you are looking for on the Internet, download Google Play Market from our website: Download Google Play Market 8.1.29.

A hard reset did not help (resetting to factory settings), this was the first time I encountered such a problem, so the first solution was to seek help from experts. I took it to one miracle workshop, where it lay for almost half a year.. They couldn’t find the firmware in any way.. My patience came to an end, I took it away. On the way home I picked up a few more pros. They promised to do it within a day. To come pick it up in the evening - it turns out they didn’t ask for it. The answer is the same - they can’t find the firmware. They returned it in the same condition that I gave it to them.

Well, it wasn’t, I thought and decided to make my contribution to the repair of this unit, it can’t get any worse. After rummaging through the forums at home, reading how and what they use to sew such devices, I realized that the most important thing is to guess the firmware version. Similar to Samsung Galaxy There were a lot of firmware options on the net for fake Nouts. So I started downloading and trying them.

The most popular firmware for this device on the network turned out to be this: MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.1os_Root_Firmware_D20130601_UP And MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.2_Os_Root_Firmware_J20131101, but they completely lacked touchscreen support. That is, everything is beautiful, even if it’s in Chinese, but you can’t move your finger across the screen, you can only control the tablet from the keyboard, which turned out to be very inconvenient. I started looking for other options. On the website w3bsit3-dns.com and other similar sites, I found a lot of useful information. And having tried 100500 firmware, I never found one that would work with the tablet normally. Some worked with the touchscreen, but it had a dead zone about a centimeter from the bottom, others had the calibration of pressing on the screen knocked down, that is, you had to poke your finger a centimeter below, others did not have a motion sensor or accelerator, some were in Mexican or completely Arabic languages and so on. In general, I was tired of looking for a pig in a poke and I remembered that when I disassembled this tablet, I took several pictures of its insides and decided to look at the markings on them. The fact that there was a miracle processor there

All Winner A13 I remembered, and it didn’t give me anything, but what other inscriptions were there... After looking through the photos, I found this treasured inscription on one of the boards of the nameless tablet: “For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4”.

Well, now at least there was some other clue. Having gone to the software repository on mail ru through the same wonderful site 4PDA, I found several firmware for "For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4". Well, there was little left to do. Having downloaded the one that weighed more, 624 meters, I uploaded it to my tablet, waited impatiently for it to reboot, and was upset, the tablet froze on the same inscription “android”, on the second try I was lucky, downloading this “ZET6223WTAROM” weighing in 446 megabytes, firmware, I got 100% results! The tablet started working. Everything, absolutely everything worked as it should. Loading speed, screen, touchscreen and Wi-Fi - everything worked perfectly. I didn’t even imagine how it would be possible to upload a lot of cool applications to this China! The firmware turned out to be compiled on Android 4.0.4, which also pleased me, that is, it was more recent.

Well, now, in order, how and with what I did it all.

We find the downloaded archive with three-file (or single-file, it doesn’t matter) firmware in .zip (or .tar) format, unpack it. We see files (file) in .tar or .tar.md5 format and, if available, a pit file

Launch the Odin program and insert the downloaded files according to the picture. After each file is selected, Odin checks it, so it may appear that the program is frozen.
PDA field – file containing the name “CODE”

CSC field – a file containing “CSC” in the name
PIT field – file with extension .pit (if available)
We connect the tablet with the original cable (picture) in Download Mode to a computer with Odin running and the files arranged, the yellow field lights up

Everything has been checked! click Start
ATTENTION: Do not touch either the cable or the connected tablet until the end of the firmware!
(press start, step back a meter and wait for the firmware to finish so as not to accidentally pull or hit anything (put the cat on a chain for a while too)

The firmware process on the tablet is observed visually in the form of a blue stripe, which continues to increase as the firmware progresses. The firmware process takes an average of 5 – 10 minutes (depending on the power of your PC and the cable through which the tablet is flashed; for me, the fastest way to flash it is on the “U6” cable)
Then in Odin you will see this picture, and the tablet will reboot into installation mode
