The new TV is broken, what should I do? Replacing an LCD TV under warranty - free legal advice in Rostov-on-Don. Scanning problems

Is your TV broken and needs repair? How difficult it is sometimes to make a choice in favor of one service or another. I want it to be repaired efficiently, to arrive on time, to be repaired inexpensively, and the workshop should be reliable, so that you know where to turn if the TV breaks down during the warranty period.

Take a closer look at our service center. We are not saying that we are the best, but we employ experienced TV technicians who have devoted decades of their lives to this profession. We are not saying that we have the lowest prices for TV repairs, but they are slightly lower than the Moscow average. Prices are transparent, and you always know what to expect when contacting us.

Estimated cost of TV repair

Beware of workshops where they will offer you a repair cost that is significantly lower than ours. It will be an unpleasant surprise for you to learn that the final amount will include replacing the unit at a cost of 3,000-4,000 thousand rubles or, more often than not, repairing it for 50% - 100% of the price of a new one. Ultimately, repairs from such a service will cost you 1000-2000 rubles. more expensive.
We conducted marketing research on this topic, calling service centers with low prices for services, and found out the following. Repair of a 32-inch LCD TV, for example, the average cost of repairing it in our workshop is 3000-3200 rubles. together with spare parts, in services that initially announce a low cost of repairs, it will amount to 4500-5000 thousand rubles. When contacting such companies, try to find out the total cost of resuscitation of your TV and do not take the words “We will repair your TV for 1000 rubles” at face value. Most likely they are not telling you something.

More information about the prices for repairing television equipment, audio and video equipment in our service center, what they consist of and how much they cost can be found on the “PRICES” page.

TV repair time

Now about the repair time. With us they are not the smallest and average 7-10 days in a service center, but there is always the possibility urgent repairs. Such deadlines are due to the fact that repair work is carried out mainly at the component level, without replacing expensive units, which significantly increases the time of restoration work due to the complex diagnosis of faults in the LCD and plasma TVs.

Craftsmen are trying to identify and replace an inexpensive part, which is very difficult in these high-tech devices, which, in principle, are not intended for this kind of work. The manufacturer initially directs repairmen to replace blocks, modules, and boards. It can be especially difficult to carry out correct diagnostics and identify a faulty part during on-site repairs in conditions of limited access to measuring equipment, technical documentation and database software. You can learn more about the features of this type of repair work on the page “TV repair at home”.

    Among the most common problems are the following:

    • The TV does not turn on or turns on with a delay. The operation indicator does not light up or blinks.
      The main reason for such malfunctions is the failure of the power supply due to a sharp drop in voltage in the network or due to a significant excess of its permissible value. In rare cases, the cause of these breakdowns may be a malfunction in the motherboard or a problem in the radio channel, especially true for modern LED TVs, LCD, PLAZMA.

      The TV turns off spontaneously.
      It is possible that surge protection, if any, is triggered. Otherwise, you should check the power supply and motherboard for microcracks and the quality of soldering of elements on the board.

      The TV does not respond to the remote control.
      Most often, the reason lies in the remote control itself: either the batteries or the microcircuit. However, the breakdown can also be in the TV: a problem in the remote control receiver or in the processor.

      The buttons on the TV panel do not work.
      As a rule, this malfunction can occur as a result of damage or a break in the electrical circuit from the button to the microcontroller, but the problem may also lie in the controller processor.

      Channel settings are not recorded.
      Most likely, a malfunction of the memory storage device has occurred.

      Problems with sound on the TV.
      First, you should check the operation of the speakers; perhaps they are simply turned off. If everything is in order with the speakers, then, most likely, the cause of the malfunction lies either in the sound processor, or in the low-frequency amplifiers, or, less often, in the radio channel.

    A TV malfunction, especially something as general as the inability to turn it on, is not always associated with a serious problem that requires mandatory contact with specialists. You are most likely encountering one of these problems:

    • The new TV won't turn on.
      Probability of defect in in this case quite small. Most likely, you are doing something wrong. Stop being nervous and carefully read the instructions for connecting and operating the TV.

      The TV was working and stopped turning on.
      Check whether it is in Standby mode (standby mode or standby mode). The fact that it is turned on can be indicated by a glowing red or green LED on the front panel. By the way, I do not recommend leaving the TV in this mode for a long period of time: despite the fact that it is convenient for users, in this mode the primary circuits of the TV's power supply are energized, and in the event of a surge in the supply voltage, these circuits will fail, and the TV will not will turn on. So make it a habit to turn off your TV using the power button. This way you minimize the risk of its failure.

      The TV does not turn on from the remote control (RC), the standby indicator is active.
      Try turning it on from the control panel on the TV itself. Perhaps your remote control is simply faulty. There is nothing special to break there; most likely, the batteries are loose or dead, and if the remote control falls, the quartz resonator could break, which will need to be replaced at a service center.

      The TV does not turn on from the panel, the standby indicator is not active
      The problem is most likely deeper in the TV, and the operation is blocked by one of the modules that has failed. On some TVs, the locking is activated with a faint click of the relay closing. Here you need to call a technician or take the equipment to a service center.
      If when you press the power button there are no clicks or blinking indicators, then it is possible that the TV will work from another outlet; the chances are extremely small. If this does not happen, then I do not recommend doing DIY repairs and trying to replace the fuses. Firstly, they don’t fly that easily, and secondly, you simply won’t find them on modern LCD boards or plasma TVs. Contact your nearest specialized service center.
      Another option in which this situation is possible is that the TV has actually turned on and is working normally, but is in AV mode or mode connected to a computer. In this case, the equipment must be switched to normal mode.
      By the way, if the TV is not connected to the antenna or on the plug weak signal, then it suppresses noise and enters monitor mode (the user also sees a dark screen without sound).

      The TV takes a long time to turn on
      The problem is due to a malfunction of one of the units. Diagnostics in this case is quite complicated, since the faulty element of the faulty unit still enters the operating mode, and it is almost impossible to confidently identify it without some operating experience. It is better to repair the TV in a service center using special measuring equipment, service programs and stands.

    To reduce the time spent on repairs, before calling a technician, you need to find out the make and model of the TV. You can view this data in the documentation supplied with the equipment or on the back cover of the TV, where a tag with this information is usually affixed. It will also be great if you tell the technician the essence of the problem and tell us about its external manifestations, for example, about uncharacteristic smells or sounds that the TV makes. Thanks to this information, the technician will have a general idea of what’s wrong with your TV and will immediately take the necessary parts with him.
    It would be useful to organize workplace: you need a table, a stool, an extension cord (preferably with a tee) and desk lamp in low light conditions. If you are going to call a professional to clean your TV from dust, prepare a vacuum cleaner and a paint brush.

    When repairing any equipment, including televisions, there is a certain troubleshooting algorithm: you should start from the socket and follow the wires to the power supply, switching board, processor module, scanning module, synchronization..., and end with a faulty zener diode in the control unit or a broken transistor in horizontal scanning. Anything that does not require opening the TV can be done by the user himself. Anything that requires any tool (screwdriver, soldering iron, oscilloscope, etc.) is the job of TV technicians.
    There are malfunctions that can be dealt with without special skills, because your problem may lie in such trifles as an incorrectly selected mode, an accidentally pressed button, or problems with electrical wiring.

    • Connection problems
      If you purchased new TV, and it does not turn on from the first minutes of being in your home, the source of the problems should not be looked for in the device itself. The likelihood of defects is very low, since all reputable manufacturers carefully check all their equipment before sending it to distributors, especially since the store must check the TV in your presence. Most likely, the issue is an incorrect connection or a control error.
      Read the instructions carefully and try again. For example, the problem may be with the power button, which may be disabled. If the power indicator is on and does not blink, then everything is fine with the power supply. If the light shows no sign of life, the problem may be with the power button or wiring. Carefully examine the cord and socket; you can also check the voltage with a screwdriver that has a built-in indicator. If the light blinks intermittently, it is quite possible that the contacts are coming loose. In some cases, the indicator blinks when the light bulb is out of order - you can temporarily ignore such a problem.

      Wrong mode selected
      If the TV does not turn on, but the indicator light is on, a power problem can be ruled out. The problem may lie in the incorrectly selected mode. Read the instructions; it is quite possible that your TV is in standby (sleep) mode. This is quite easy to determine - the screen goes dark in this state, and the indicator lights up in red or green.
      Then check the other modes. Some LCD models have a special button that allows you to determine the current state. If you selected DVD player or game console mode, you will only see a blank screen and a glowing indicator. Check the sockets into which the plugs of the set-top box or player are inserted; if the mode is selected and the devices are not connected, the screen automatically goes dark.

      Technical problems
      The source of trouble may be hidden in a broken remote control (RC). Press the power button. If the indicator blinks, then there is no doubt that the remote control is working properly. If the indicator does not blink and does not react at all, it is worth checking your remote control. It may be enough to simply replace the batteries. If after this the TV does not turn on, try using the button on dashboard. The image still hasn't appeared? Most likely, the problems are inside the device. Modern LCD devices are characterized by complex technologies, and it is undesirable to try to fix them on your own. Listen. If something clicks deep inside the case, it could be the built-in locking module. Very often it is he who becomes the cause of all problems. This module always clicks when activated, and if you hear such a click, you will have to call a specialist.
      In cases with old CRT devices, the “root of evil” was usually hidden in the fuse, and if you had certain skills, you could replace it yourself. But modern LCD TVs are created using a completely different technology, so you should contact a service center, because we are talking about a fairly expensive piece of household appliances, and it’s not worth risking so much money.

    Currently, almost all TV manufacturers are trying to save on production by installing low-quality components. Therefore, timely prevention, and in some cases, modification of the TV will significantly extend its service life. Below are some rules that, if followed, will help you avoid frequent equipment breakdowns.

    • Clean the TV from dust and debris.
      Dust settling quite often leads to various damages, but most often the matrix suffers from this negative factor, which quickly fails in the absence of preventive measures. It is necessary to clean the TV at least once every 2-3 years, and it is better to entrust this task to a specialist: he will do it faster, and most importantly, safer for your equipment.

      Protect your TV from voltage surges.
      No one is immune from voltage surges, which often occur in apartment buildings. It’s better to worry about the safety of your new TV in advance by purchasing a high-quality voltage stabilizer along with it. Do not forget that few people have been able to force the electricity supplier to compensate for material losses, since it is very difficult to register the fact of a voltage drop.

      Do not pull out the power plug while the TV is running.
      Thus, turning off the TV is strictly prohibited, since such events can suddenly deprive the entire system of power. If you are unable to change your habit, buy an uninterruptible power supply. It will also be useful if there is a power outage.

      Provide protection from lightning strikes to the roof-mounted antenna.
      In conditions of constantly changing weather conditions, such reasons for the breakdown of expensive televisions have become far from uncommon. Therefore, during a thunderstorm, it is recommended to turn off the television receiver by first removing the antenna plug from it. The best option would be to purchase products such as an antenna cable with ferrite lightning filters, which is distinguished not only by its ease of use, but also allows you to provide a clearer and higher-quality image while watching your favorite TV shows.

      Protect the TV from moisture.
      Flooding with liquid is a fairly common cause of TV breakdowns, which occurs in those families where the equipment is installed on pieces of furniture, next to which cups of unfinished coffee or water “stand idle” from time to time. And if small children or pets live in the house, then sooner or later the contents of carelessly left mugs will definitely end up inside an expensive device. The best consequence would be a TV breakdown, the worst would be a fire. To protect your family from such problems, it is best to install equipment on the wall using reliable mounts. Otherwise, you will have to constantly monitor the location of the dishes.

      Avoid exposing the TV to direct sunlight
      To further protect your new TV from premature wear of parts, place it in a part of the room where there is no direct sunlight. The fact is that any modern TV contains elements whose service life may decrease if they are used at elevated temperatures. It is especially worthwhile to protect plasma screens from direct sunlight, since ultraviolet radiation can have a negative effect on phosphor cells, contributing to their premature aging.

    The range of prices for repairs is quite large and can range from 1 to 15 thousand rubles. In some cases, the cost of repairs is comparable to the price of the equipment, but such repairs are not cost-effective, since it is more profitable for the client to buy a new TV. If we talk about the formation of cost, then the amount of money paid for repairs consists of two components: the price of components and the fee for the work of the master.

    Before agreeing to service at a specific service center, pay attention to the warranty provided after repair. If you are denied it, you need to think about whether it is worth contacting this service. Next, you should find out the cost of the services provided. Try to select several suitable companies in advance and analyze them in all respects, including price, so you can definitely make the right choice. By the way, do not forget to inquire about the availability of branded spare parts for your TV. This can usually be done by telephone.

New tricks of telephone scammers that anyone can fall for

The TV is broken

The situation couldn’t be more offensive: you’ve been saving up for several months for a new super-duper TV, you bought it, but before you’ve had time to enjoy this miracle of technology, you discover that the TV is broken. And you know perfectly well that it is not your fault: you operated the equipment carefully and according to the instructions. What to do?

So, if your TV is broken, keep in mind that this is a technically complex product that is covered by a warranty (you did receive a warranty card upon purchase, right?). Therefore, while the warranty period is valid, do not even think about contacting private workshops, looking for a TV repairman through advertisements, or calling your neighbor, a jack-of-all-trades, to repair your TV. With all claims, you need to go to the store that sold you the low-quality product.

According to the Law, sellers of household appliances stores, although they are not manufacturers of equipment, nevertheless bear full responsibility for it. Usually, the first thing buyers do is send them to warranty workshops, “forgetting” to notify that they, the buyers, according to the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights” have every right to choose with whom it is preferable (or more convenient) to resolve this issue: with the manufacturer ( or its representative), with a service center or with a store.

In some cases, a store may send a broken TV for examination to find out whether the breakdown was the fault of the buyer or whether the product was sold with a defect. It is important to remember the following: firstly, while the warranty is valid, such an examination is carried out at the expense of the store; secondly, transportation of goods weighing more than 5 kg is also carried out by the store. Thirdly, the store is obliged to replace a low-quality TV within 20 days (Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, Article 21), and return the money within 10 days (Article 22 of the same Law). The examination establishing the reason why the TV broke must be completed before the end of these deadlines.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the examination carried out by the store, he has the right to turn to another examination independent of the store. Based on the results of the examination, the buyer has the right:

A) do not agree to repairs, which are often imposed by the store;
b) demand replacement of the TV if a serious defect is discovered;
c) or demand a refund for a broken TV - any defect can serve as the basis for this.

If it is not possible to reach a compromise, there is only one way out: to resolve the matter in court.

What fines face those who undertake renovations in their apartment?

The very first televisions are so different from modern technology that it seems there is almost nothing in common between them. In fact, the general principles of operation have been preserved, and some TV malfunctions different models are repaired the same way. However, new causes of failure have also appeared related to the characteristics of the screen matrix, the design of microcircuits, and much more.

Trouble turning on or off

If the TV does not want to turn on, and the network connection indicator light does not even light up, then the problem is most likely with the power supply. It can burn out as a result of a strong voltage drop.

A similar reason may occur if the TV turns off spontaneously. If overvoltage protection is installed, it can turn off the device at the right time. If you know that the voltage was stable, then you need to check the power supply and look at the motherboard to see if any microcracks have appeared in it.

No response to the control panel

This is a fairly common problem, but in most cases it is associated with a malfunction of the remote control itself. You may have dropped it or spilled something on it and it stopped working. You should also check the batteries to make sure they are ok.

It happens that the remote control has nothing to do with it, and the problem is a malfunction of the remote control receiver on the TV or a problem with the processor.

Memory problems

It happens that you want to set up channels and remember them, but nothing works. This may be due to problems with the memory device. A similar situation occurs when you adjust the sound, turn off the TV, and after turning it on, the settings are not saved. It will be necessary to check the memory chip and, if necessary, replace it.

Buttons on TV don't work

If you press a button on the TV itself, but no reaction occurs, then you need to check whether the contact connecting the button to the microcontroller is broken. If all contacts are intact, then you need to look for the reasons in the controller processor.

Sound problems

The sound problem is caused in most cases by some problem with the speakers. We need to check that they are turned on, connected, and that all contacts are intact. There are problems with the bass amplifier, as well as with the sound processor. As a last resort, you need to look for a solution in the operation of the radio channel.

Poor or no image at all

It’s an annoying situation when the TV turns on and you can even hear sound, but there is no normal picture. The reasons for this can be very different, but they can almost always be solved. Whether you can solve them yourself or you will have to call a specialist is another matter.

  • When the image is completely absent, but the sound is excellent, this may be due to a malfunction of the matrix or video amplifier.
  • The absence of a picture and periodic loss of sound may indicate that there are scanning problems.
  • If there is sound and the screen lights up but does not show anything, then there is some problem with the video processor. The cause may also be interference in the tuner.
  • It’s an annoying situation when the image only expands to half (bottom or top) of the screen. This indicates a malfunction in the matrix's vertical scanning. The vertical scanning module fails due to voltage surges and poor performance of the power supply.
  • If a narrow vertical stripe appears on the screen, then something is wrong with the horizontal scan transformer; if the stripe appears horizontally, then there is a problem with the vertical scan.
  • The image has become monochromatic or one color has disappeared. This indicates that the video processor or video amplifier is broken.

Individual matrix malfunctions

In a modern TV, a malfunction of the matrix becomes a big problem that can only be solved by replacement. The matrix, in essence, is the screen, or rather, its main part on which the image is built. The reasons for matrix failure may be the following:

  • being hit by a hard object or falling;
  • moisture entering the matrix contacts;
  • manufacturing defect, electrical defect;
  • wear and tear resulting from long-term operation.

Due to damage to the matrix, multi-colored stripes, black circles may appear on the screen, the image may freeze or be completely lost. Only a specialist can diagnose and replace the matrix, since there are many features of connecting and configuring the device.

Scanning problems

There are several indicators that indicate that there are problems with the frame scanning of the TV:

  • the image has become smaller or shifted vertically;
  • alignment is disturbed;
  • lines appear in the image indicating the reverse path of the rays;
  • there is no frame scan at all, etc.

In the complete absence of frame scanning, one luminous horizontal stripe is visible on the screen. Typically, all these cases of malfunction are associated with incorrect operation of the vertical scan generator unit. In the generator, the frame rate is set by capacitors, resistors, diodes, and transistors. If the TV has a kinescope, then the signal from the frame scanning unit is supplied to the deflection system. There may be problems with the contacts, or a breakdown in the deflection system may occur.

Only a person who is well versed in the TV's structure can fix problems with all these elements, so contact a service center.

From all that has been said, it is clear that most problems can only be fixed at a service center. With our own strength we can:

  • check if there is voltage in the network if the TV does not turn on;
  • check the antenna connector contact, whether it is connected well, try tuning other channels if the image is not of good quality;
  • if there is no sound, see if the headphones are plugged into the jack, unplug them, plug them in and out again, make sure the sound setting is correct;
  • replace the batteries in the control panel and check its serviceability.

Based on the signs that we described in the previous sections, you can determine how serious the problem is with your TV. After this, you can call a technician or take the device to a service center.

LCD TVs have now practically replaced ray tube TVs. LCD panels are distinguished by high picture quality, smaller dimensions (thin body), which allows them to be hung on the wall, and lower energy consumption. But, despite all these advantages over older TV models, breakdowns of LCD TVs have not decreased. Therefore, if your LCD TV fails, you have 3 options:

  • carry out repairs at a service center;
  • call a specialist to your home;
  • repair the equipment yourself.

But first you need to decide what kind of malfunction appeared in your TV. Should I contact a specialist or can I repair my LCD TV myself?

To find the cause of a breakdown, a technician often has to use special equipment. But sometimes a fault on an electronic board can be determined visually, for example, if the capacitors are swollen. In any case, the one who undertakes the repair must have the necessary skills and knowledge, without which it is possible to “kill” the TV completely. Below we list the main blocks included in the design of LCD/LCD TVs, which are most often subject to breakdowns.

Main board

Under control motherboard All the main components of the device are located: inverter, timing controller, power supply. The motherboard contains a processor, memory, tuner, converters, etc. If any malfunction occurs with the main board, the following symptoms may appear:

  • it is impossible to configure the device,
  • inputs don't work
  • the picture on the screen is displayed with noise,
  • difficulties arise with management.

Power supply (PSU)

This node supplies power to all modules of the television receiver, including the motherboard. Although the power supply has different types protections, in some cases they turn out to be ineffective.

If the power supply burns out, or some of its components fail, the following symptoms appear:

  • TV does not turn on;
  • the indicator blinks or does not light up at all;
  • the device turns off spontaneously;
  • When turned on, the indicator starts to glow and immediately goes out;
  • When the TV is on, the screen turns black, but the sound does not disappear.

Matrix (screen)

Most often, the screen is either broken or filled with liquid (tea, juice, coffee, etc.).

In case of mechanical damage (and in some cases chemical damage), the matrix cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one.

But if in it one or more lamps have burned out, then screen restoration is possible. The following matrix problems can be repaired:

  • gray screen;
  • hazy image (as if filled with milk);
  • the appearance of vertical stripes;
  • image slowdown;
  • moving objects split into two.

Inverter (backlight unit)

The task of the inverter is to convert low voltage (12-24V), which comes from the power supply, into the high voltage necessary for the operation of the backlight lamps. If the inverter is faulty, the following can be observed:

  • after turning on the device, only sound works, but no image;
  • When you turn on the TV, the picture appears for a moment and then disappears completely.

It is worth noting that the picture has not disappeared anywhere. If you turn on an ordinary flashlight and point it at the screen, you can see moving shadows on it. This fact confirms the lack of backlight due to inverter failure.

May also power supply protection triggered if the backlight unit fails. In this case, all attempts to turn on the device become unsuccessful, since it turns off immediately (sometimes a click is heard).

T-Con (timing controller)

This node converts signals coming from the motherboard into signals that the matrix can recognize, and thereby form an image. A broken T-Con causes the following symptoms:

  • the color scheme is disrupted;
  • “goosebumps” and various stripes appear;
  • the screen turns white or gray.

What can you repair yourself?

Since an LCD TV is a fairly complex electronic device, you can fix only some problems yourself, and only then, provided that you have minimal knowledge and radio electronics skills. So, you can do it yourself:

  • troubleshoot problems with the remote control or lack of TV signal;
  • repair the power supply;
  • replace the backlight bulbs.

Replacing the matrix itself, if it is damaged, is not always justified from a financial point of view, since its price is approximately 80% of the cost of the device.

Problems with the remote control

If you try to turn on the device from the remote control, but it does not respond to your actions, then first of all, you should check the validity of the batteries. Dead batteries should be replaced. If dirt has accumulated under the remote control buttons, you will also not be able to use it. Disassemble it and clean all dirt from the contacts. Another reason that the remote control stopped working is that it fell, resulting in the quartz emitter is damaged which will need to be replaced. If the remote control was filled with liquid and drying it did not help bring it back to “life”, you will have to throw it away and buy a new one.

No TV signal

A situation often arises when a working TV refuses to turn on. But not everyone immediately realizes that this behavior of the device can be caused by a banal lack of a TV signal. This fact is explained by the fact that modern TVs use a noise reduction function. If there is no TV signal, protection is triggered and the TV switches to standby mode. Therefore, if your TV receiver stops turning on, first check the presence of a TV signal, and only after that look for other reasons for the equipment failure.

Power supply repair

To generally understand how to troubleshoot a power supply, the entire process can be followed using the example of repairing a DAEWOO TV.

Before proceeding with repairs, make sure that the device is unplugged from the outlet.

Replacing capacitors is the simplest operation that a home mechanic can perform. In other cases, you cannot do without special knowledge, and it is better to entrust the troubleshooting to a specialist, since your incorrect actions can cause the motherboard to burn out.

Replacing backlight bulbs

You can also replace burnt-out backlight lamps installed in the matrix yourself. The process of replacing lamps will be demonstrated using the example of a Sharp device. Using this description, you can change the lamps in the LCD matrices of TVs of other brands.

When to contact a service center

In most cases, when malfunctions appear on the TV, you will need to contact a service center. Below is a list of problems that require mandatory intervention from specialists.

  1. All breakdowns listed at the beginning of this article(repairing the power supply and replacing lamps, if you can handle it, can be excluded from the list).
  2. HDMI input does not work. A breakdown occurs when devices are connected to this input while the TV is running. Users often forget that this needs to be done when the device is turned off.
  3. The image is missing. Before calling a technician, check the equipment settings and the presence of a TV signal. If the problem persists, turn off the device and call a specialist.
  4. Screen noise. First check the TV signal, antenna cable and all connections. If that doesn't work, check with your service provider to see if any maintenance work is being done. Check which electrical appliances in your home are included in at the moment, and which ones may cause interference. In other cases, this problem may be caused by internal failures in the TV receiver units, and to get rid of them, you will need to call a technician.
  5. Can't set up and save channels. This indicates a failure of the memory chips.
  6. Stripes on the screen. The reason for this could be anything: poor contact of the cables at the connection points, problems with the matrix and motherboard etc.
  7. No sound. May be faulty motherboard, the contact of the cable is broken, the speakers themselves are broken. But first, check to see if you accidentally pressed the mute button on the remote (meaning the one-touch mute button with the speaker icon crossed out).
  8. The device stopped turning on. If the socket, plug and power cord are working properly, the power supply is not turned off, then it is better not to tempt fate, but to disconnect the device from the network and call a technician. If you do not do this and continue to “conjure” the electrical appliance, then the main components of the TV may fail, after which more serious repairs will be required.
