Diagnostics of Silicon Power flash drive showed a controller malfunction - not detected in the OS. “Opening” the flash drive and a thorough check of the drive board did not reveal any damage.

Since there was no doubt about the type of malfunction, it was time to proceed according to the standard scheme for such cases - dismantling the memory chips and assembling an image of the drive data.
